Anoro Ellipta™ (umeclidinium vilanterol) is an inhaled drug that treats chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Anoro Ellipta is a long-term treatment option that helps the muscles around your airways relax and improve COPD symptoms.1

What are the ingredients in Anoro Ellipta?

The active ingredients in Anoro Ellipta are umeclidinium and vilanterol.1

How does Anoro Ellipta work?

People with COPD often experience breathing problems. These symptoms happen because the muscles around the airway tighten. Anoro Ellipta is an inhaler that relaxes the muscles and makes it easier to breathe.1

Anoro Ellipta is a combination of a long-acting muscarinic antagonist (LAMA) and a long-acting beta-2 agonist (LABA). Both LAMAs and LABAs work by relaxing the muscles around the airways. This reduces the symptoms of COPD.1

What are the possible side effects?

Common side effects include:1

  • Sore throat
  • Cold symptoms
  • Lower respiratory infection
  • Sinus infection

These are not all the possible side effects of Anoro Ellipta. Talk to your doctor about what to expect when taking Anoro Ellipta. You also should call your doctor if you have any changes that concern you when taking Anoro Ellipta.
