    Hello Leon,
I used a friend’s Su An Chi machine for more than a month, persuaded by the results, I bought my own. The machine is expensive. My friend, who for years took care of a prostrate husband with breathing difficulties, said cheaper machines were not as good. Hers had been used without problems three times a day during 10 years. I mention this because the price is off putting – but for me worth it.
The machine oxygenates the body with visible result in the oxygen meter. A two hour walk in good weather, I stress good weather, doesn’t faze me; before 15 minutes left me panting. This is my experience. I have as yet moderate emphysema. I am incapable of making a medical assessment. And I am wary of assuming that my experience will benefit others.
    Best regards,
    Andrea

    Good morning Leon.

Perhaps you could change my atavar. I’m a woman, ,not a man – an old woman so perhaps it doesn’t much matter. But still…

Hi Andrea – it is nice to get to know you here.
As far as the avatar goes, I believe that is probably a ‘generic’ one from our website – I believe it’s just there, as is.
The expectation is that you might be able to select your own avatar to use.
You’ll see at the top of the page is the word PROFILE.
If you click on it and look around, you’ll see you have the option to change your profile photo. That is where you can put in a picture, or whatever you would like to represent yourself.

That’s pretty interesting to hear, ebwhittaker – and thanks for letting us know.
First, of course, the price is incredible.
And second, the fact that you bought it for you knees and it appears to be helping your breathing with COPD.
    Keep up the good work!
    All the best,

It certainly is interesting. Two friends with COPD also use the Chi machine with obvious result in their breathing. Personal experience is not equivalent to medical expertise. Do you know of any research on the machine?
My doctor knows nothing about it and shows no interest in it. Patients are stuck into strict medical protocol and we are left to our own devices to make life a bit more liveable, which, with much imagination and no medical knowledge, can be fatal. Have you any possibility to inspire research on the machine?
