rehab with COPD..exercising

I am 84 and very active , or as active as my COPD allows. I would like to build up stamina though. How expensive is the rehab for COPD?

  1. Hi buckybuck and thanks for posting your inquiry. This is an issue that you should first take up with your physician. The doctor and his staff should be able to provide you with ALL the information concerning pulmonary rehabilitation programs in your area. Cost (to you) should be offset by third party payors (insurance and/or Medicare/Medicaid). Once the 'business' end is worked out, you should be on your way to accomplish your goals!
Please check back with us and let us know how you're doing. I thought you might find it helpful to review this material on pulmonary rehabilitation: https://copd.net/living/lets-talk-pulmonary-rehabilitation/

    1. Dear all,
We are business and engineering students currently developing a device to make lives of COPD patients easier.
The ‘MoveLighter’ is a smart lighter that motivates you to improve your lifestyle by counting cigarettes and tracking activity.
The data is shown on the devices by LED lights, and at the end of the day will be send to your smartphone/e-mail and doctors.
      What do you think?
We would really appreciate all of your FEEDBACK so we can improve and develop the MoveLighter!
