Indoor air quality

When first diagnosed I didn't realize the importance of the air I was breathing indoors. I started cleaning my apartment by vacuuming up all the dust I could find. I buy good air filters for my HVAC system and change them every month. Then I got a air purifier for the whole apartment. The first morning I woke up after using the air purifier I couldn't believe the difference in my breathing. Wasn't wheezing or coughing a lot. I hope this information can help others to breath easier. Thanks
.

  1. Hi Bassman:
We appreciate you posting your experience with indoor air condition and how you are improving the quality of the air in your apartment.
In view of your post, I thought you might find it helpful to read this published material on that very topic: https://copd.net/living-with-copd/pulmonary-rehab/lifestyle/allergens-and-irritants/

    1. You said you purchased a good air purifier. What one did you purchase? How many rooms will it work for and is it portable? Do you have to buy extra filters for it or is the filter cleanable? I really need to purchase an air purifier but, have no idea what brand to buy or what type to get. Some as said the Hymalian salt type work others say ion purifiers are best. Yet the ones that tell me this don't even have them. Can you please let me know I would really like to get one real soon. It would have to be able to clean an area 20 ft x24ft atleast because, my , Kitchen, livingroom and dinningroom are all open yet together.

  2. The one I got is a aeuris platinum whole house air purifier. Need to replace filter once a year depending on how much you use it. Also have to replace UV light when it burns out. This unit is expensive, but you can get a smaller one depending on room size. I was lucky to find this one at a Goodwill Thrlft Store for real cheap. But it makes a big difference in the air inside. Easier breathing and God Bless
