Dark colored arms
Hello. I was just curious if dark arm coloring is part of COPD. My boyfriend has end stage COPD and his arms and basically skin all over looks terrible. His arms look dark purple with red blotches that are slightly raised on both arms and bruised looking on top of hands. His skin is so dry and red and legs flake something terrible. He is not on steroids or blood thinners (he was 2rs ago when he had blood clots in lungs and leg and was 1st diagnosed). He doesn't use his oxygen anymore just inhalers. Is this part of COPD and oxygen levels? Thank you in advance.
My SO has end stage and has had dark bruises on his arms for quite a while. His skin is so thin that the slightest bump will cause a new bruise spot. I have heard that is just another part of the COPD disease.
