My experience with copd
RATE

I have given up regular smoking of cigarettes, about 6 per day, for almost 54, yes 54 years. I put a dead stop to smoking one day, and not much withdrawal symptoms. After about 4 smoke free years I developed COPD – more specifically diagnosed as bronchiectasis – and now on regular medication of bronchodilator/mucolytic-expectorant syrup about one teaspoon dose twice daily, supplemented by COPD spray inhaler if symptoms appear suddenly. I am a 72 year old male, otherwise healthy, except breathlessness on exertion. Dust plays havoc and immediate attack occurs. So I remain indoors mostly. This is my story. Any comments please????
