COPD & cannabinoid therapy

Beginning in 2010, my research took me to medicinal applications of cannabinoids - my first need was for extreme back pain from arthritis, but my follow-up research over a few months prompted me to begin nebulizing as well as ingesting. I had been using Spiriva for my COPD and as my condition worsened, I was prescribed Advair as well! That was in 2010 when my lungs showed degeneration to 30% of 'normal' for my age - 60! I soon went from being UNABLE to bathe or shower (because of the humidity) to being easily able to - AND use all the hot water in my tank! I totally discontinued my inhalers on July 1st, 2012! Hi DaveP. I'm interested in using cannabinoids for copd. What kind / form are you using ? How often, what dose ? Side effects ? I hope it is alright that I keep in contact with you. I'm only a year in dealing with copd and I'm wanting help from those who have experience. Thanks

 I would suggest that you base your beginning use on your history! Have you any experience, either medically or recreationally, with Cannabis in the past? I use a concentrated extract of essential oil from dried whole-plant Cannabis that I grow myself - this I ingest via gel caps and in "butter" at breakfast (this is made by infusion) and I use a vaporizer(nebulizer) to inhale the essential cannabinoids without combustion - the terpenes Limonene & Pinene are the most beneficial for opening one's airways! I'm hoping this is a good start, but please, let's pursue this - I do like to help with advice & please note - we do NOT offer goods for sale!
