Wendy123's Story

Stopped smoking 1979 and two years later was told my lungs were clear. Enjoyed great health until 86. Copd hit me hard. 90 now and I have more bad days than good, complicated by my esophagus which closes for a week at a time , necessitating a feeding tube. My pulmonary doctor says no more tests needed so he has essentially written me off. Symbicort helps . Learned to center myself when panic attacks start. Sleep a lot. Hey, life is still good but I’ve stayed sick too long for my friends, I’m down to one that can help me and two wonderful neighbors. Lots you can do to feel better. I start the day with 1 teaspoon baking soda in hot water. Stay alkaline. Try to stay positive.
