I have asthma and COPD - it is hard to breathe air in or breathe air out. I just found out 3 weeks ago I also have cancer in my left lung. They operated and it was determined it is in the 4th Stage. However I am hopeful that I can overcome these hardships and keep pushing. I am a Vietnam Veteran Infantry I have overcome every problem before. I shall go down FIGHTING.

Hi swbder and thanks for sharing your story with our online community. You've gotten hit with a lot, being diagnosed with COPD and asthma and lung cancer. It's encouraging for us to read about your optimism, positive attitude and 'can do' spirit! Of course, being a Vietnam war veteran, you've already been through a great deal (as you said), and now plan on keeping that fighting spirit. Thank you for your service and I hope that everything turns out good. You are a very brave man I read. I think that whatever Life throw's at you, you got. You are an Infantry, Vietnam Veteran, my gosh! You are extraordinary men!!!

Thanks for your service and your spirit! I'm a fighter too, and know the spirit along with exercise are the 2 most important parts of maintaining your health as best you can!
