I Had No Idea Why I Was So Sick

It started Dec 26 2014 - I did not smoke on that day I was so sick. I went on the train to Washington, DC. I got to my son's home and had a dry cough - could not eat. I stayed in the bed for five days - I would not go to the hospital. He took me home on the first of January 2015 . I went right to the hospital for eight days and that is when I found out my oxygen was only 82. It has to be around 94. Then I found out I had COPD. Plus other bronchitis.

I am now on Spiriva & Advair. The best thing I can say is on the 26 of Dec 2015 it was one year without smoking, almost a year and a half now! And it is a struggle every day, but I know in my heart I want to breathe better.

I have been doing so much better and I have been given a second chance in life…
