Exhausted

Hi, I'm a 66 year old baby boomer. I have COPD and was diagnosed with asthma last year. I finished hepatitis C treatment a year ago and seem to be cured so far. Since doing the treatment I've got numb, tingly feet, toes, and hands. I also have nausea, tinningitis, plus leg pain, insomnia, etc. Just recently I've been extremely bloated in stomach and very tired most days. My asthma or emphysema symptoms seem worse now. It's hot, also very smokey, from fires. My doctor does not understand I've been getting rib cramps. If I reach out when I'm in bed, it usually brings on cramps in my upper abdomen. So exhausted atm. Has anybody had bad effects from pulmicort turbohaler? I thought maybe cause bloating? Any thoughts appreciated thanks.

PS: I'm also on ultibro pulmicort Ventolin. I think the smoke and heat has made me more breathless. My doctor has me booked in for heart stress test next week to see if heart is okay. I've smoked for 40 yrs so I'm a bit worried.

Hi Davoe, and thank you for sharing your story here with the community, You certainly are dealing with a lot, given everything you've described to us medically. Many of the symptoms you're experiencing may be attributed to various medications - you may want to discuss these very symptoms with your prescribing physician. Are you on other medications besides the Pulmicort? However, some of what you've described can also be associated with COPD and/or asthma. Feeling tired is something others in our community have mentioned, too. As well, bloating can also be associated with COPD. Since you also mentioned your COPD and asthma symptoms appear to be worsening, you may also want to discuss this with your physician.  Hi Leon, I made a mistake and posted you a message I'd already sent I think sorry , anyway my blood tests were good no obvious problems ,so I think it's the heat and smoke making my breathing worse we've had to keep house closed up over 2 mths now nearly every nite ,plus the heat is hard to take very exhausting ,dr thinks maybe pinched nerve in neck may cause trying to keep eyes open , maybe his right IV always enjoyed summer but not this year .I feel really bloated <a href='http://also.maybe' target='_blank' rel='noopener noreferrer ugc'>also.maybe</a> that's the way it's going to be with this horrible disease ,thanks for reply.

You may very well be correct that it's the heat and smoke that are causing the issues you've described. Dear. Mr Plez fcbk friend me as we will have much in common re: COPD & our (yours and mine) rib cramps. I stopped taking prednisone & im feeling its thoz that aggregating the cramps. Altho they may have helped with the inflammation of my lungs, i feel they make my tummy hard incl my liver and i believe it effects my diaphragm and rib cage muscles givinh me painguk cramps . The cramp pains are wicked and im not happy with the lack of info from the doctors to the extent where after seeking doctor Google and finding these shared experiences online from other sufferers ive learned more.  Hi Dijon,thanks for your reply ,I would be very interested ,in comparing our problems, maybe you could send me some of your experiences,and we could compare ,the cortasteroid s seem to not suit me,as I have been on for a few months now ,I'm trying to get rid of stomach bloating as I think it make my breathing worse ,what part of the world are you from??
