Does anyone experience weak urine flow while taking incruise ellipta and breo ellipta?

I am 70 years old and now taking these drugs and they are working great however I was on spariva for about a year and felt it did not work for me. After a flair up I was hospitalized and as a result of a drug reaction I stopped urinating I had to have a cathera inserted three or four times a day for a week until I started tp urinate on my own. Had to have a PSW support worker for a while to help with cathera and showers but find these new drugs have helped give me the energy to take care of my self only problem is this weak urin flow would like to know if anyone has any suggestions that might help Thanks

  1. Hi garrys and thanks for this post. While we cannot provide medical advice or diagnostics over the internet (for your own safety), I'm hopeful others in the community may be able to share their own personal anecdotal experiences (if they have them). In the meantime, I would suggest you inquire further about your concern (weak urinary flow) with your prescribing physician. Since the issue has been significant enough to warrant catheterization, you may even want to see a specialist (urologist). There are other medical conditions that may result in the symptoms you shared. Please do check back and let us know how you're doing. Good luck! Leon (site moderator)

    1. HI Thanks for your answer and yes I have seen a urologist and had many tests and exams .Everything seems ok and my copd specialist tell me I might have had a reaction to the drug Spiriva or to a drug called adavent

    2. Hi garrys and thanks for answering the post and inquiry. Glad to hear the urologist has evaluated your condition and finds everything to be okay. Moving forward then, in the absence of any other conditions, the best person for you to have guide you would be the pulmonologist (COPD specialist). Please do keep us posted on how you're doing.
