Is anyone here using Trelegy?

i would like to know if anyone else is on this trelegy medicine

  1. Hi Demon and thanks for your inquiry. While I'm hopeful you will hear from other community members in response to your question, I thought you might find it helpful to look over this article on that medication: https://copd.net/trelegy-ellipta Wishing you well, Leon (site moderator)

    1. I use Trelegy Ellipta. I have done very well with it, though I did have an exacerbation 9 months after starting it. It is expensive and this year I am going to have to pay about $427 for a 90 day supply once I am through Stage 1. I pay $131 in Stage 1 but my insurance currently pay $1709 for 90 day supply so 25% of that is what I will pay for rest of this year. You only need to use 1 dose daily. I also take Daliresp, an oral med, for COPD. That one is pricey too. Insurance price is over $1000 so I will pay $250+ after Stage 1.

      1. Hi again, rhonda, and thanks for chiming in here. We appreciate you sharing the success you're having using the medication, Daliresp. Keep up the good work! Leon (site moderator)

    2. I've been on Trelegy for about a year now and I love it. It works good!

      1. Hi Stephk3556 and thanks for sharing the success you're having using the medication, Trelegy. We appreciate your input. Leon (site moderator)

    3. I was on Trelegy for a short period a few years back with no problem, about 5 days; this year, I was on it for several weeks and got a thrush with blisters and the whole shebang. I won't use it ever again.

      1. My error was in rinsing my mouth after use. No one told me to rinse my mouth with mouthwash, not water. I was able to get over this by steroids for two weeks - a very slow process.

      2. Hi again, slyboots, and thanks for your response and explanation. From my experience, it's not been a requirement to rinse with 'mouthwash' - only water - gargling and rinsing vigorously followed by spitting. I'm sorry to hear this thrush condition happened to you. Has your physician decided on another medication for you as yet?
