What is the right hose length?

My wife was recently diagnosed with copd and has to be on O2 24/7 they gave us a 75 ft hose Ive been reading that we should have no more than a 50ft hose does anyone know why

  1. From what I was told, the less the oxygen has to travel between you and your machine you will get a stronger oxygen flow. I used to have a 50’ cord and am now down to 25’. It also depends on how far you have to go away from your machine. In other words if you can’t make it, for example, to the bathroom on a 25’ cord, then that won’t work for you. Maybe you could relocate your machine to a more central location. Good luck, hope this helps.
