Does anyone else’s oxygen tubing wrap around their neck?

Problem with oxygen tubing being wrapped around my neck when I wake up (not good). Any practical solutions?

Hi i use a device called a Maxiaid CPAP Tubing Holder. it doesn’t completely prevent the problem but it helps. it looks like an iv stand but shorter and the base fits between the mattress and box spring to hold the hose over your head.

Hi HOPS and thanks for your question. While I’m hopeful you may hear from others with their own personal experiences, I would like to give you some suggestions which you may find helpful.

If you haven’t already, you can try different variations of securing the excess length to the bedpost, bedside table or bed leg, depending on your bedroom This may minimize the availability of the extra length of hose that can be permitting the tubing to get wrapped around your neck. If the cannula is secured in the ‘over the ears, under the chin’ style this may help. It will keep the tubing taut but not restrictive.
Please check back and let us know what you think.
    All the best,
