Why isn't there an orange ribbon displayed on this site and the Facebook site?

Hi, Lazy T and thanks for your question! While we certainly can't speak for other communities, or why they do or do not use the ribbon, I can tell you that we at COPD.net have used the ribbon several times over the past few years for awareness months (November). Please check out this post if you're interested in seeing an example: https://copd.net/news/change-avatar-awareness/ - we gave this article to the community so that people could change their avatar, or profile picture, if they want to help raise awareness about COPD. If you're interested in raising awareness further, there are several articles we have about the topic of awareness: https://copd.net/?s=awareness&submit=Go. I hope this is helpful in your admirable efforts! Best, Jenn (COPD.net Team)

Thank you. Just curious. It is displayed on other sites. Ribbons don't cure anything, but they seem to help in raising awareness. Did not know copd even had a ribbon until recently.

Hi Lazy T - it's always good the more we know about COPD. Increasing awareness in general can only be helpful for all of us.
All the best,
