What is “mild” COPD?

What does it mean when they tell you you have mild copd that’s all they said to me and give me a inhaler been of cigarettes 4days now

    Hi kezz20 – That’s a great question. It can be confusing when you’re not given a full explaination. I’m going to add a link to an article that has a great description of each stage. I think it answers your question the best. Here it is: https://copd.net/basics/copd-stages/stages-explained/
    Congratulations for quitting 4 days ago! The first couple of weeks are known to be the worst, so you’re almost through the first week. Try to change your routine a little each day so you don’t fall back into habits that make you want a cigarette. Things like sitting with your morning coffee, that stroll around the block, or an after dinner smoke.

    Thanks for your help tomorrow it will be a week I have stopped feeling like am getting a cold but it’s my insides clearing it self from smoke I have done over the years
