What is causing my low energy?

I have severe COPD and on oxygen. I have no energy whatsoever. I walk 20 ft and lose my breath and have to rest. I watch tv for about 30 mins and get very tired and have to shut my eyes and rest for 30 mins. I can't do anything without getting exhausted. Why?

  1. Hi Miker54 and thanks for your post. While we cannot provide medical advice or diagnostics over the internet (for your own safety), your concern certainly warrants a reply. As you are probably aware, COPD affects everyone differently. What might cause you to be tired may not cause someone else to experience the same loss of energy. And yet, we all understand that COPD and fatigue often go together. I thought you might gain some additional insight from this article on that very topic: https://copd.net/symptoms/tiredness/. I do hope you find the information to be helpful. All the best, Leon (site moderator)

    1. Lack of oxygen. Get your b12 levels checked
