Why am I getting red "spots" under my skin on my chest mech and arms?

The spots are under skin I cannot feel them , they don't itch, they are purply red in color and look sort of like somebody took a red pen and put dots on me..

  1. Hi again, kimmer1968 and thanks for this post. You may be aware we cannot provide medical advice or diagnostics over the internet (for your own safety), but you comment certainly warrants a reply. You may want to take these concerns you expressed to your physician for evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment. If these symptoms are persistent and/or worsening, you may want to reach out for your doctor sooner rather than later. Please do check back and let us know how you're doing. All the best, Leon (site moderator)

    1. Hi kimmer1968 - I'm so happy to hear you'll be seeing your lung doctor tomorrow. I'm also thrilled to hear you're making a list of questions! That is so important. We always think we're going to remember to ask everything we need to know when we're there, but invariably we leave and think of something important we forgot to get an answer to.

Please let us know how you make out at the doctors.

      Regards,
      Lyn (site moderator)

    2. Hi again, Kimmer1968, and thanks for your reply (I see it appears twice!) Good luck with the appointment with your physician. We'll look forward to hearing back from you.

  2. Thank you...I am concerned I get to see my lung doctor on Friday...there's a lot I need to ask..I am making a list this time...I am doing my best to comply with all doctors orders, but they have not shared a whole lot about this disease...thank God I have all of you! I will let you know what happens with my doc. and I thank you

    1. I've noticed red bumps along with flushi g of the skin on my chest, neck when I've exerted myself, like after taking a shower. I feel they are related to the adrenaline and stress hormones released after an exhaustive task that can lead to trying to catch my breath..

      1. Hi Quin and thanks for chiming in here. Hopefully, Kimmer1968 will read what you have to say and proceed accordingly for herself. To date, we have not heard back from her after her (stated) appointment with her physician.
