Can you drink coffee while on Spiriva?
It seems I read somewhere that one should not drink coffee while using Spiriva. I am interested to see if anyone does, with no ill effects.
Hi KaisNana and thanks for your post. I'd be curious if you could locate the literature you seem to have read on the interaction between Spiriva and caffeine. I do not recall seeing any kind of conflict between the two. A brief search of the literature revealed nothing as well. You may want to discuss this further with your own physician; specifically, if YOU need to avoid caffeine or, if there is some contraindication for you to using Spiriva and caffeinated products. I always drink coffee and have not noticed any problems.
Isn't this a before bed medication?
