Has anyone used CBD oil for their breathing?

my wife has copd and does not want to take prednesone and we are looking to see if the cbd oil may help her breathing.

  1. I,ve just sent off for CBD oil , heard so many good things about it so I,m going to try it . Will keep you posted

    1. I have tried numerous cbd oils from numerous companies and I can not tell a big difference. While cbd may relax me it did nothing to improve my breathing. I have also tried inhaling various forms of cbd oils, waxes and what is called “shatter” and I can say with 100% certainty that everything inhaled was VERY irritating to my lungs and I will avoid inhaling anything into my lungs cbd based or not. So please educate yourselves regarding cbd products, their benefits and limitations. I’ve tried them all and can share my experiences using each.

      1. jkaye, thank you for sharing your experience with cbd oil. Researching and being informed on any treatment option is always a good practice! I appreciate you offering your perspective from having used cbd oil in the past. The strength of the community lies in the different experiences of the members and what is learned from one another in sharing those experiences! Thank you contributing to the conversation! ~Allyson (COPD.net team)

    2. Well tried the CBD oil , drops under tongue didn't help breathing but got a great night's sleep

      1. I use Oregano Oil, has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory qualities, and is of use in COPD to prevent pulmonary infection and reduce pulmonary inflammation. The Oregano oil may be diluted in juice or mixed with olive oil to dilute further. Start with one drop and gradually work up as tolerates.
