"HI all, wow it's been 7 months since my last update & a lot has happened in that time. Back in April I got a virus which took a toll, got that under control then got a chest infection which laid me up, lost a big chunk of my fitness & to my dismay I got shingles & that's a battle I wouldn't wish on anyone. So I've been back at the gym now for about 8 weeks & it's really been a struggle. After my toxicity problem I had managed to get myself back upto a comfortable 20min @ setting 4 on the treadmill but unfortunately following the virus, infection and shingles I'm struggling to maintain 5min even @ level 3, the muscles have recovered well & are back to strength but the lungs just don't have enough puff to maintain any endurance although I can bang out 20mins on my exercycle here at home so that's a bit of a strange one. My diagnosis is very severe copd emphysema with my lung function @ 18% as of Dec 2018. Ithe will be interesting to see if that has changed over the last 12 months when I get tested again. This copd journey is really a roller-coaster of emotions, sometimes it feel futile to continue fighting but my will is strong no matter how demoralized I may feel I will keep going. "
