Endobrachial valves/Pulmonx

Hello everyone, So I spent the afternoon at University Hospital in Cleveland, main campus, and did preliminary testing to see if I will qualify for the "valves". Altho I felt as if I had run a decathlon when I finished, I gave it my very best effort. I wonder if anyone has had the valves and the results? I so very much want to be better -- more me. I have been not depressed, but discouraged, and am feeling optimistic for the first time in months. Comments? Thanks for reading.

  1. Hi cynthia - we hear you! I am so glad to hear you are feeling optimistic now that you are being considered for the endobronchial valve procedure. As it turns out, several of our members have had the procedure and have shared the way they are feeling following the procedure.
I am hopeful some of them will see your post and respond by sharing their own personal anecdotal experiences with you here.
In the meantime, we do have a wealth of material published on this very topic. For your convenience, here is a link to those articles: https://copd.net/search?s=endobronchial%20valve%20procedure%20zephyr. You will note in some of the articles, our members have had lively discussions about their experiences.
I do hope you find this is helpful for you.
    Wishing you well,
    Leon (site moderator COPD.net)

    1. As always, Leon, good to hear from you. I do hope to hear first hand from members and will check out the link. Thank you!
